FORM DESIGNER

To respond to the requirement by companies about customized workflow management based on forms (and not files), we decided to integrate a new tool in QualiWare “QualiWare Form Designer“.

QualiWare Form Designer is an innovative tool that seeks to allow non-expert users to easily configure both data request forms for new documents, both real data collection forms handled with the same logic of documents.

By the Form Designer you can:

  • customize the default fields of the documentary categories, to handle data entry with some rapidity;
  • Create modules in predefined fields simply fill out a form, without generating a document, handling these modules with the same principles of documents (archiving, verification workflow, approval, publication, revision, etc.).

By whom is usable?

  • by the System Administratorfor all document categories
  • by the Documentary Category Configurator at the top level (can customize the data input interface for all subcategories of that category).

The Form Designer is a tool available within the Document Management Module;
its functions are housed in a dedicated form “Document Management Configuration”for the categories “single document (file) type” and “single document (form)”:

COMPLEMENTARY FUNCTIONS

In the “Document Management Configuration” form (“Form Designer” tab), you can find some links:

The link “Change automatic links” opens a form that allows you to configure or change automatic links for each field generated by the Form Designer.

The link Export category configuration category allows the ability to export the configuration of one category;
Note: export only the structure of the category, not the documents contained within it.

The link Import category configuration provides an action similar to the “export category configuration”, but the direction of the transfer this time is the reverse.

The link Create query asking in advance to save the “generated sql file”, automatically processes an sql query with fields set to the form specifically for that document class;
on that query you can then intervene to set filters or modifying the fields displayed.

The link Create desktop form structure report, passing through a window that prompts you to save the report to be generated, automatically processes a report in html with the structure of the form that you created, the list of objects, their main properties and events code.

The link Create mobile form structure report performs the same function as the “Create report structure form desktop” link, but is related to the mobile version.

REUSE OF DESIGNED FORMS

You can reuse the form designed, by exporting and then importing into another category or another database.
Export/import functions are available in the design environment’s File menu:

EVIDENCE OF ERRORS IN THE DESIGN

At the close of the Form Designer, in case of errors (such as database fields assigned to multiple objects) appears a link allowing you to highlight such anomalies:
