and is the text that will appear.\n<p><strong>NOTE<\/strong> When you select an item, often displays a small arrow to the right of the field, pressing which will open the options for that specific property:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23206\" src=\"http:\/\/help.qualiware.it\/qw-help\/wp-content\/uploads\/FDfreccalato_en1.jpg\" alt=\"FDfreccalato_en\" width=\"329\" height=\"142\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.qualiware.it\/qw-help\/wp-content\/uploads\/FDfreccalato_en1.jpg 329w, https:\/\/help.qualiware.it\/qw-help\/wp-content\/uploads\/FDfreccalato_en1-300x129.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 329px) 100vw, 329px\" \/>Example: <em>FontBold<\/em>\u00a0property allows you to choose \u00a0the bold type\u00a0<em>(true)<\/em> or not (<em>false<\/em>);<br \/>\nother times it does not appear the arrow because you can write directly the chosen option in the line of the property;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Example: for the property <em>Fontsize<\/em>, just write the number of the character\u00a0\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-23245 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/help.qualiware.it\/qw-help\/wp-content\/uploads\/FDfrontdim_en2.jpg\" alt=\"FDfrontdim_en\" width=\"171\" height=\"16\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><b>Size<\/b><\/span>\u00a0expresses in pixels the height and the width of the object;to change the size click on the <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.qualiware.it\/qw-help\/wp-content\/uploads\/pulsantino_sottomenu_fd.gif\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/>\u00a0button, that opens a submenu relative to the two dimensions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>Location<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0also articulated in the submenu,of X and Y, it allows you to specify the placement of the object on the &#8220;Designing Plan&#8221;;<br \/>\nin particular X and Y are the coordinates of the upper left corner of the upper-left corner of the container.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong style=\"color: #993300;\">DropDownHeight<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>DropDownWidth\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>allow you to define a fixed size in the list of boxes with drop-down menu. For example, if the field is small for reasons of space, you can set the size of the curtain, at the time when it opens for choice;<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>Sorted\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>if it sets as <em>True,<\/em> presents the values in alphabetical order.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">OnlyRead<\/span>:<\/strong>present in some items, you can make the field available just one automatic filling, without the possibility of type in inside.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>TabIndex<\/strong><\/span>: it is\u00a0the only property common to all objects and allows you to specify the sorting <span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">tab&#8217;s sequence.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><a name=\"progettazione_form_proprieta\"><\/a>PROPERTIES A FIELD REFERRED<\/h4>\n<p>It &#8216;s very important that<strong> each object is linked to a database field<\/strong>;<br \/>\nso in the &#8220;Editing Documents&#8221; table&#8217;s form will show the columns of objects inserted with the assigned name and the specific corresponding field of the database.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23214\" src=\"http:\/\/help.qualiware.it\/qw-help\/wp-content\/uploads\/FDnomecampo_en.jpg\" alt=\"FDnomecampo_en\" width=\"372\" height=\"177\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.qualiware.it\/qw-help\/wp-content\/uploads\/FDnomecampo_en.jpg 372w, https:\/\/help.qualiware.it\/qw-help\/wp-content\/uploads\/FDnomecampo_en-300x143.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 372px) 100vw, 372px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the (<span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>Name)<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<span lang=\"en\">defines the name of the object.<br \/>\n<\/span><span lang=\"en\">It is important because it <strong>is the name with which handling events referred to the object, to modify or to read its value.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span>Each object has a default (name) assigned with a number that grows gradually\u00a0you insert objects of the same type on the form.<br \/>\n<span lang=\"en\">It is advisable to change the (name) of the object, so that it is easy to link to the type of information that is intended to handle; <\/span><span lang=\"en\">of course, assigning a specific name, you no longer need to maintain the sequence number.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Is it possible to give the same field name, so you have greater clarity in the correspondence between the form object and the database field.<br \/>\n<\/span><span lang=\"en\">N.B. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">The name you choose to assign <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><b>cannot contain spaces<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>the <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>Datalink<\/strong> <\/span>property\u00a0defines the <strong>name of the database field<\/strong>, in particular in the &#8220;DOCUMENT &#8221; table, in which the value of the object will be stored.<br \/>\nIt is very important that every <strong>object of the Form Designer is linked to a field,<\/strong> otherwise the value is not saved in the database, and therefore is not recoverable for all necessary functions (queries, reports, Inserting in Word\/Excel templates).<br \/>\nDepending on the type of object the field will be given DATE, CUSTOM, NUMBER, FLAG.In particular are available:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"primary\" class=\"content-area col-md-8\">\n<article id=\"post-22359\" class=\"post-22359 post type-post status-publish format-standard hentry category-qw-fd-form-designer\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">CUSTOM1 -25: max 254 characters \u2013 text fields<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">CUSTOM26 -30: unlimited length text fields<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">FLAG1 icon -40: logical fields<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">DATE1 -20: date fields<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">NUMBER1 -20: numeric fields<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<ul>\n<li lang=\"en\">The <b>&#8220;<span style=\"color: #993300;\">FieldDescription<\/span>&#8220;<\/b>\u00a0is the name that can be attributed to the field, soit is both in the columns of the &#8220;Editing Documents&#8221;<em>table<\/em>, both in the document menu to appear an identifying name and not a generic\u00a0CUSTOM1 or DATE2, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"left\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/help.qualiware.it\/qw-help\/wp-content\/uploads\/qw_for24.gif\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p align=\"left\"><span lang=\"en\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><b>Collate<\/b><\/span>: if <i>True<\/i> means that this field will be used for <a href=\"http:\/\/help.qualiware.it\/qw-help\/collating-of-documents\/?lang=en\">automatic collating<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li lang=\"en\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><b>ModifyAfterWorkflow<\/b><\/span>\u2014 changes the fields even after the publication of the document.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li lang=\"en\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><b>ShowinIndex<\/b><\/span>: set\u00a0<i>True<\/i> to be able to see the field as a column heading in the index of documents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"en\"><span lang=\"en\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><b>DataSourceQuery <\/b><span style=\"color: #333333;\">it allows you to define a query, with which you can define the list of possible values attributable to the object in question.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\">Pressing &#8220;on the dots&#8221; next to the property, it opens a window where you can specify the query.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23218\" src=\"http:\/\/help.qualiware.it\/qw-help\/wp-content\/uploads\/FDquerylista01_en.jpg\" alt=\"FDquerylista01_en\" width=\"330\" height=\"80\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.qualiware.it\/qw-help\/wp-content\/uploads\/FDquerylista01_en.jpg 330w, https:\/\/help.qualiware.it\/qw-help\/wp-content\/uploads\/FDquerylista01_en-300x73.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 330px) 100vw, 330px\" \/><br \/>\nPressing on <em>&#8220;Link to&#8221;<\/em>,\u00a0you select one of the predefined queries (attached to the master data) or a scratch (Custom Query).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23219\" src=\"http:\/\/help.qualiware.it\/qw-help\/wp-content\/uploads\/FDquerylista02_en.jpg\" alt=\"FDquerylista02_en\" width=\"852\" height=\"478\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.qualiware.it\/qw-help\/wp-content\/uploads\/FDquerylista02_en.jpg 852w, https:\/\/help.qualiware.it\/qw-help\/wp-content\/uploads\/FDquerylista02_en-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 852px) 100vw, 852px\" \/><br \/>\nBelow is an example of a drop-down box containing a set of e-mail addresses, which feeds on the organization chart of the customer whose code and name were included in CUSTOM1.<br \/>\nThe custom query is the following:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23220\" src=\"http:\/\/help.qualiware.it\/qw-help\/wp-content\/uploads\/FDquerylista013.jpg\" alt=\"FDquerylista013\" width=\"730\" height=\"90\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.qualiware.it\/qw-help\/wp-content\/uploads\/FDquerylista013.jpg 730w, https:\/\/help.qualiware.it\/qw-help\/wp-content\/uploads\/FDquerylista013-300x37.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 730px) 100vw, 730px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>NOTE<\/strong>: if you intend to refer to a form object which is not linked to any field, simply insert its name in the query, always preceded by &#8220;:&#8221;.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><b>Required<\/b><\/span>: If <i>True<\/i> means that the field is required, and if not filled out by the user, the system will return an error message preventing the saving data.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"left\"><span lang=\"en\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><b>AllowedRoles<\/b><\/span>: indicates which workflow roles are enabled, the field is filled in. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">The roles you specify by a series of checkboxes that open automatically on the arrow.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"left\"><span lang=\"en\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><b>ShowRoles<\/b><\/span>: indicates which roles in the workflow can display the field. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">As for the roles enabled, even viewers roles, you specify through a series of checkboxes that open automatically.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><b>Readonly<\/b><\/span>: If <i>True<\/i> means that the field will not be editable.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><b>Speed Tip<\/b><\/span>: Specifies the text that is presented to the user, when you rest the mouse on the field.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><b>Defaultvalue<\/b><\/span>: is the value that the field contains by default when you create a new form.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><b>ListCostrained<\/b><\/span>: If <i>True<\/i> indicates that the value in the field may be entered only by choosing it from the list (the user cannot then enter a value typed as you like).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>Required<\/strong><\/span>:\u00a0if <em>True<\/em> means that the field is required and if not being filled by user, the system will return a message, preventing \u00a0the saving data.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>Locked:<\/strong><span style=\"color: #333333;\">if <em>True<\/em><\/span><\/span> prevents that the field can be moved by dragging the mouse in error designers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GRAPHICAL PROPERTIES The properties of the various fields used in forms and the properties of the form itself (see here), are all listed on the right side of the Designing Plan and are displayed when you select the object in question (by clicking on it).
