The fields placed on a form can be used within document templates ( file management’s case) or print templates ( form management’s case).
Setting a printinting template for forms is useful for a better viewing in reading (see also here about opening a document form in reading).
By clicking the “Define Form Report” in the “DOCUMENTATION MANAGEMENT CONFIGURATION” form, you can create a print template from scratch or open an already created earlier.
Printing templates can be realized by Word, Excel or Crystal Reports, Html, Report Designer.
If you use Word or Excel, (similarly to what happens for templates),the fields can be included in the file by using the ” Fields Menu“, in an additional QualiWare toolbar integrated in the Word/Excel’s file.
In the following image you can see that is been added in a word file the “number plate” field:
The fields are listed in the menu with the description assigned during the design phase of the form, by the property“FieldDescription”.
