The form “Tools/equipment/instrument Registry” allows you to manage the database of all instruments/equipment the company (both of control and of production);
Note: the term ‘instrument‘ shall mean, unless otherwise noted,both the instrument and the tools used.
The Form, as a whole, looks like in Figure:
The core of the form (at the top of the tab) contain information that identify the istrument, and is always visible, even changing the lower selecting through the tabs (Control and Intervention plan/Movements/Information).
- control and Intervention plan – opens the scheduling tab uses and required interventions, calling the controls required to ensure the efficiency of the tools and equipment of the company and act promptly when it is needed.
- Movements registers the main data relating to the main uses/interventions on instruments and equipment, as well as the controls and interventions that are interested
- Information – allows you to connect data and general information to the tools.
TO INSERT A NEW TOOL
The identification key is registered through the two fields:
- Category: code attributed to the category to which the instrument belongs. If you do not remember the coding given to categories, you can invoke the same list with the button “Category”
- Code: 10 alphanumeric characters, uniquely identifying the instrument.
- Identifying key must be associated with a proper Description
Once defined the essential elements is appropriate:
- Indicate the start date using
- Specify if the tool is:
– referece instrument that is used as a reference for the calibration of other instruments;
– mobile tool/equipment ;
– subject to the control procedure, namely a control intervention or procedure;
– subject to controls planning, if the control procedure is combined with a planning. - Finally, selecting “Information Tab” you can record additional information.
SEARCH FOR A TOOL ALREADY ENCODED
To search for a tool or equipment already encoded, use the search button 
that pops up:
- the list of categories of tools – by double click on the Category field or press the button
; - the list of instruments in order to Code – by double click on the Code field;
- the list of instruments in order of Description – by double click on the field Description.
After you specify a category, by placing in the field code or the field Description, the search button displays only the instruments belonging to the selected category.
INSTRUMENTS AND EQUIPMENT PENDING INTERVENTION
The “pending tasks” toolbar (in the tab “Collaboration“) opens the list of planned interventions on tools and equipment already expired or planned for the future:
In particular, the expired date is considered one that is manually inserted in the tab Control and Intervention plan, in the next action date.
