WORKFLOW DESIGNER

This form allows you to draw the workflow of documents or recordings using a graphical interface.

If you have already defined the phases using the traditional form, they will appear as pictured above.

You can then intervene by editing the workflow directly from here: entering new stages, providing or deleting conditions.

INSERTING A WORKFLOW STAGE

To enter a new phase, click with the mouse on the symbol of the upper right column and drag it to the chart, placing it exactly on one of the arrows linking the existing phases where it says Drag here. A new box will open where you will have to write the phase Description:

 

In the next space, you can indicate:

  • Description of the phase: a more extensive description of the stage.
  • Message to send: the text of the message which is generated automatically for the involvement in the process.

  • Only annotations: put True if it is a period in which who intervenes cannot change the text, but can only make annotations.

  • Qualifications: by pressing the button opens the list of users from which you can draw those you want to enable.

INSERTING A CONDITION

To insert a condition, proceed as for the workflow stage, by clicking on the symbol and then dragging the mouse up to the chart, in the desired position, exactly on the linking arrow. In this case, you will draw a chart like this:

Thus is highlighting the condition function: in the example, if the condition is true, you pass to the verification phase, if it is false, you go directly to the publication.

The text of the condition must be written on the line , pressing the button that opens the programming window.

DELETING A STEP OR A CONDITION

To delete a phase or a condition, click on it with the mouse and press the DEL key.
